Qualifications and Educational Requirements : Bachelor's Degree (required). Registered Nurse (RN) License (required). Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (required) Candidates must be registered with the Ontario (or other Canadian) College of Nurses. Experience in a mental health setting or a CNA certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health is an asset. The ideal candidate has advanced health assessment skills and supervisory experience. A venipuncture certificate is required or a willingness to become certified if selected for the position. Computer literacy is essential for the purposes of electronic charting, particularly the ability to use Microsoft Office.
